Data Collection and Tabulation

Every participating district has the option to complete the surveys online or with paper and pencil. Online survey data are tabulated
in-house and usually take approximately 7-10 business days to complete.

Paper and pencil survey data over a certain quantity are sent to the survey lab of Prof. Dorothy Espelage, Ph.D., nationally recognized bullying researcher, at the University of Illinois for tabulating. Please allow at least 2-6 weeks to receive results.

Reports are organized by survey-type. For each item and scale your district's data is compared to the aggregate data of approximately 75,000 students and adults in over 50 school districts nationwide.

K12 Associates will also conduct longitudinal studies over multiple school years to track school progress, cross tabulation, advanced statistical analysis, and custom reporting for an additional fee.

Darlene Glass, Director of Instruction, Bloomer School District, Bloomer, WI.

K12’s school climate surveys gave us an understanding of how kids perceive the environment. We identified where and when aggressive behaviors occurred, then we implemented changes throughout our school to target specific problems. We have seen definite improvement in behavior and academic achievement.”
